I have a few projects on the go at the moment. Some of these are technology based others are just things that I have wanted to do for years (but was just too time poor!).
Zlora - The ZK File Explorer
I am working with a former collegue from Marsh, Simon Massey, on building a ZK based file explorer, primarily intended for system administrators to use to manage file systems remotely over the internet. You can find out more about Zlora at the Zlora website.
My take on Zen Garden
I am no graphic designer but I have been bitten by the CSS bug recently, particularly by the examples of what can be done with clever use of styling and separation of content and layout as shown at Zen Garden. I am working on a few simple examples of different styles that can be applied to the same content. At the moment I have a couple of themes in use. You can see these via the following links. These themes only change the stylesheet not the content.
Old Projects
MSc Dissertation
In early 2003 I completed my Masters of Science in Computing with a dissertation titled "The Application of Design Patterns in the Development of N-Tier Applications using the UML and Java". It is still relevant if a little dated; good design patterns usually stand the test of time.
